1. Group Administrator Overview
The purpose of the Group Administrator role is to allow an administrator to manage a group of users
and that group(s) email & web protection policies. The Group Administrators has no administrative
permissions outside of managing the group(s) they administrator and managing the Email & Web
Protection policies to which their group is subscribed.

1.2. General Group Administrator Information
• New role for Enterprise customers only; not applicable for Service Provider Customers
• Administrators that can create and edit a user (e.g. Customer Admin and higher) can assign
the role of Group Administrator for any user in the administrator's hierarchy
• Administrators that can create and edit a user (e.g. Customer Admin and higher) can assign
the groups the Group Administrator can manage
• A group administrator can be assigned to a Group in two places:
1. Within the Group Administration link in the User Account Details
2. Within the Administrators tab when editing a selected Group
• A Group Administrator can only sign in if there an active Email or Web Protection service
subscription
• The Group Administrator landing page is the Groups page
• There is no limit to the number of Group Administrators created
• There is no limit to the number of Group Administrators assigned to a group
• There is no limit to the number of groups a Group Administrators can administer
